Senior Associate

Caite was admitted as a Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland in June 1994 and was in private practice at the Bar until May 2001 when she joined HCB as a Senior Associate. She was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in July 2001.

Over the years, Caite has been a member of the Council of the Bar Association of Queensland, President of Queensland Young Lawyers, member of Women Lawyers Committee, member of the Bar Association of Queensland’s Equal Opportunities Panel and a member of the Queensland Law Society CLE Committee. She is also a member of the International  Law Association.

In 1999, Caite completed a Masters Degree in law with an emphasis on Trade Practices, Consumer Protection and International Dispute Resolution. She has edited a wide variety of legal publications and has presented major papers in the areas of Insurance and Property Law.

Caite is now the mother of two beautiful girls, Alex and Ella. She is currently working part time at the firm and on her off days successfully juggles the demands of working from home with raising children.
