ELIZABETH LORIMER  B.A., LL.B.

Senior Associate

Elizabeth was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 1984, acting in a wide range of lititgation in the District and High Courts, and in the Court of Appeal in New Zealand.

Before moving to Queensland, Elizabeth developed her own practice in New Zealand. She brings to HCB her experience in:

• Contracts

• Torts and Professional Negligence

• Personal Insolvency

• Wills and Estate Administration

• Family Law

Elizabeth has acted as Defence Counsel in a diverse range of matters from fisheries to health and safety prosections.

She has been a member of the Council of the New Zealand Bar Association, an elected member of the Canterbury District Law Society, and convenor of the Canterbury Women Lawyers Association, as well as serving on several Law Society Committees.
