LES PRIDDLE  LL.B, SFCDA

Special Counsel

Les was admitted as a Solicitor in 1971.  He was Ipswich Town Solicitor from 1973 to 1974 and was an Academic at the University of Queensland from 1974 to 1988 during which time he consulted to Hawthorn Cuppaidge & Badgery.  He was also Head of Department of Commerce at the University of Queensland from 1983 to 1988 and Adjunct Professor of Law University of New England from 1993 to 1995.

Les was an Associate Director for Price Waterhouse Coopers from 1988 to 1991 and then commenced his own legal practice which has recently merged with Hawthorn Cuppaidge & Badgery. He is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and of the Federal and High Courts of Australia.

Coal Mine development, aircraft and submarine fibre glass componentry manufacturing, meat certification, removal of a mineral resources tax, public company floats, tax appeals, ocean salvage and senior executive "redundancies" are some of the diverse areas in which Les has been involved in practice.
