Lidia holds a Bachelor Degree in Law and Commerce from the University of Sydney.

Since starting her employment at Hawthorn Cuppaidge and Badgery in 2006, Lidia developed a passion for Migration Law which forms a substantial part of her practice with our firm. Lidia advises clients on specific visa options, processes applications on behalf of clients and conducts review matters in the Migration Review Tribunal and Refugee Review Tribunal. Her attention to detail has contributed to our Migration department achieving a 100% success rate for applications submitted to the Australian Immigration Department for the past financial year. Lidia now heads the Migration department in our Sydney office.

Amongst her achievements, Lidia was named as the 1999/2000 youth of the year by the Lions Club for her contributions to community and numerous academic achievements. In 1999 Lidia was chosen to represent Australia in the USA National Association of Student Councils National Conference. There she presented and participated in leadership workshops, interstate problem solving sessions and conducted small group workshops. Upon her return Lidia received the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) and a service award from the Government of New South Wales in recognition of her achievements and contributions to the Australian community.

Lidia lectures on various legal subjects at the Technical and Further Education (TAFE) College in Sydney.
